In our country, the free education policy for normal university students is comprehensively being carried out, and the new round of the elementary education curriculum reform is being furthered. Higher normal university has been playing an important role in training persons qualified to teach as the nucleus of teacher education in China .It is well-known that the quality of teacher education is influenced by many factors. Among them, the teacher education program plays a key role, because it's the heart of the school education. At present, some unbalance in curriculum constitution in our normal education has made the qualities of its students fails to meet the end of quality education, our teacher education programs badly needs changes.This paper based on the analysis of elementary education curriculum reform and the free education policy for normal university. Linked up my major, this thesis analyzes the arrangement of chemistry teacher educational curriculum about normal universities. Then by making an analysis of the results of question, my thesis put forward some related developing suggestion directed at those problems. This paper is consisted of five parts:The introduction part briefly expounds the background of the study, defines the relevant concepts, summarized the study status, explains the basic issue and significance of research, and describes the relevant ideas and methods.The second part gives an account of the sketch of pre-service teacher education curriculum's status, It emphatically analyses the 6 college's main problems in its chemistry educational program constitution.The third part discusses the foundation of pre-service teacher education curriculum reform in theoretical and practical ways. The major theoretical basis mainly includes the following aspects: the professional quality teachers and curriculum arrangement theory; the practical basis mainly involves the new curriculum classroom teaching and the current situation of teacher professional development. These provide the necessary academic support for pre-teacher education program of teacher education institutions.The forth part discusses the issue on how to arrange chemistry teacher education curriculum from concepts,basic principles and strategies, which provides special methods for current teacher education curriculum's reform and innovation in normal university.The fifth part is mainly about epilogue. It combs and summarizes this study's process of research, and makes some reflection and expectation.
