Strategic Analysis Of Social Workers Involved In Family Crisis

With the deepening of its economic reform, China is facing one of the most critical period of social transformation since its history, with the rapid development of economy and technology, and the rapid change of society. China’s families which is considered as cells of the society, are undergoing significant changes. As a huge amount of family problems appeared, people are facing this serious phenomenon. Family social work is an important area of social work, but when social workers serving families, they are facing such problems like the social work profession hasn’t been treated as it should be, the limit of available resources, the difficulty to balance family and individual development, and the lack of effective ways to intervening. Internal research areas and family therapy model are difficult to solve practical problems. And most of the case studies have also only made a simple statement on the clients" behavioral characteristics, the effect of treatment and intervention methods, these studies are too narrow in the family intervention to be an effective model for family work. Therefore, this paper based on the practical experience, through the exploration of specific practices and the thinking of family crisis intervention methods and techniques, hope to find a practical and effective way to intervene the families in crisis, and help social workers to carry out quickly and efficiently family social work.This paper divided into five parts:The first part is the preface, which account for writing this article selected topic background, research achievements, topics of theoretical and practical significance, and the main research methods, innovative point.The second part is about the research of the family in crisis of definition, analysis of crisis in family forms and the causes, and then described the current state of families in crisis in longgang District, Shenzhen.The third part is the focus of this article, which is mainly about the core theory that the author get through the internship period in the analysis of cases involved, and the study of social workers’ family crisis intervention, the analysis of social workers’ interventional model, concluded the summary of social worker to carry out crisis family practice patterns and techniques.The fourth part is the author’s thinking of the social workers’ work to family crisis intervention, respectively, from the social and policy level, family level, social work agencies and social workers levels.The fifth part is the conclusion part of this paper.In a word, the family crisis is caused by multi-level multi-factors, so, I hope that the multi-dimensional multi-level thinking research, and summed up the practice operating skills.
