Abstract/Summary:
Micro-blog is the abbreviation of miniature blog. It’s a new technology application of web2.0. Since2006, the year it appeared, has been widely spread in all walks of life. With the universal application of micro-blog in the social field, the researchers turned their attention to its educational value. Collaborative learning out of class based on micro-blog play an important part in students’ training of information literacy, collaborative communication skills and innovation ability. At present, research about micro-blog collaborative learning mainly focused on the empirical research of its education applications, and evaluation are very few, still do not have a complete evaluation system model. Therefore, evaluation of collaborative learning out of class based on micro-blog is a problem that very worthy of study. There’re a quite different between micro-blog and the traditional network collaborative learning, we could not copy the existed evaluation. This paper focus on the study of the micro-blog out of class learning mode and the evaluation model, established the evaluation index system for micro-blog, provided effective guidance for collaborative learning out of class based on the micro-blog, and promoted the teaching and learning.This article first introduced some related concepts such as collaborative learning, the evaluation of collaborative learning, micro-blog, collaborative learning out of class based on micro-blog, summarized on the characteristics and functions. Then, analyzed the advantages of micro-blog platform, and the characteristics and elements of micro-blog learning. This paper proposed three kinds of micro-blog extracurricular collaborative learning mode, namely the resource sharing mode, the problem solving mode and the knowledge construction mode, gave a micro-blog extracurricular learning case, elaborated the concrete application of these mode. And also analyzed the differences between micro-blog and traditional network evaluation, studied the impact of micro-blog on the evaluation indicators.In summing up the existed evaluation model, combined with the new characteristic of micro-blog and questionnaire results, this paper established a formative assessment index system of extra-curricular collaboration learning based on micro-blog, included interaction, participation, attitudes, learning strategies4primary indexes and13secondary indexes, and3evaluation principal (teaches, collaboration team members and learners). This study sent questionnaires to teachers and learners to determine the criticality of these indicators by their own teaching or learning experience, then, used analytic hierarchy process on empower the evaluation index weight, used the SPSS Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, KMO statistics and Bartlett’s on the reliability and validity test of the index. Consulted and adopted relevant researchers’ proposed amendments about this index system to ensure the system comprehensive and scientific. Introduced the ABC classification of warehouse management, divided the class of secondary indexes, set up excellent, good, medium and poor4grades as the basis of evaluation, this method can reduce the randomness of subjective evaluation.Based on the platform advantages of Sina, this study taken it as the collaborative learning environment, constructed a micro group called "collaborative learning based on micro-blog" to experimental study. In order to carry out comparative analysis of the data, this paper conducted two evaluation experiments. The experiment1set up the experimental group and control group, used the new index for the old and new target contrast. Studied satisfaction on evaluation by questionnaire, if high, means the evaluation system in line with actual learning situation, it’s reasonable. In addition, experiment2included two evaluations, used Z-test to analysis the significant differences about the two evaluation results. And this paper applied Kendall coefficient to analysis the consistency of teachers and learners’evaluations, to ensure justice. Through the experiment, verified the effectiveness and rationality of the evaluation system, and the effect of evaluation feedback.This paper analyzed the unique advantages of the micro-blog evaluation compared to the traditional network learning evaluation:qualitative and quantitative, real-time into the evaluation system.At last, this paper summarized in work and results, noted that a study on the improvement of local, from the technology platform, scope of micro-blog application, asked questions, and indicated the direction of follow-up studies.
