Henan Province Female Medium Distance Running Project Development Present Situation And Countermeasure

The middle-distance race was prevailed as early as in the19thcentury, and since then it has alsodeveloped in the countries all over the world. The female1,500meters program was officially listed as anOlympic sport in1972, and the female5,000meters and10,000meters project was respectively increasedin1996and in1988for the Olympic Games. Furthermore, the female3,000meters steeplechase programwas also listed as official event in the2008in Beijing Olympic Games.Women’s Middle and Long Distance team of Henan providence was founded in1959, which wasestablished by Henan providence Sports Commission for welcoming the first national games. A largenumber of excellent athletes were emerged in more than40years. However, the Henan province femalemiddle and long distance running results began to decline gradually and opened a big gap compared withother provinces and cities of the country. Therefore, the Henan province female middle and long distanceprogram has great significance at that period.Through using the method of literature, investigation and logic method, we can investigate theHenan providence female middle and long distance running project, analysis it, identify problems andpropose solutions.The results show:First, Henan providence female middle and long distance running team has outstanding history and ithas been reintegration after2002;Second, Women’s middle and long distance running program achieved excellent results from70’s to90’s although it was gradually declined from2002. Third, most of Henan province female middle and long distance runners have a college education,but less highly educated trainers. At the same time, there isn’t has national long distance coaches in Henanprovidece at present.Fourth, the currently age of Henan providece middle and long distance front-line team is too young,but the overall quality of high cultural level of the athletes is limited. No shortage of reserve talents inHenan province, but is less reserve talents of competitive level, the lack of scientific management of sportsteams and the lower scientific research level.At last, the current research and medical equipment is good in Henan providence, but still existslarge gap between the developed provinces, now the medical staff education education age distribution isreasonable and pblished medical articles are in good condition.
