Injuries of young volleyball athletes have its own characteristics and need be given more attention.This research adopts literature methods and material law, survey procedure,observation method,mathematical method of average and logic analysis and so on, by investing the athletes and coaches whoparticipated in2011Traditional Sports School and the National Youth Volleyball Club Championship ofHenan Province and the2011Youth Volleyball Championship of Henan Province, generalizing thecharacteristic of sports Injuries in young volleyball players in Henan Province, to provide a reference andtheoretical basis for the prevention of sports Injuries in young volleyball players in Henan Province.Conclusion:1. The easily injured parts of young volleyball athletes in Henan are ankle, finger, wrist, shoulder,waist and knees; the easily injured organizations are tendons (including tendon sheath) and muscle; acutesports injury occurs most; most of the degree of injury are mild and moderate; the sports injuries occurredmainly in the training of high-intensity compete exercise; more sports injuries happened in the coldseason(from December to February).2. There no significant difference in injury rate in different ages of young volleyball athletes anddifferent training years. With the increasing of the athletes’ training time the rate of acute sports injurydecrease; the rate of chronic sports injuries and old sports injuries increase, and have highlight negativeimpact on individual athletes and teams.3. The sport injury prevention knowledge of young athletes is not enough. The main way to get sportinjury prevention knowledge is from coaches, doctors (not the team doctor) and their own experience. Coaches do not pay more attention to the importance of sports injury prevention. Athletes can not gettreatment in time and rehabilitation when they injured.4. The main causes of Sports Injuries are inappropriate unseeing technology, poor physical fitness,fatigue, prepared activities unreasonable and overloading training on the body local parts.Countermeasures:1. Increase funding and personnel support to youth volleyball training center. Some teams which haveenough conditions can be equipped with a full-time fitness coach, even with the doctor and the basicequipment for some physiological and biochemical indicators test to making the team’s training andrecovery more controllable and scientific.2. Strengthen training coaches, regularly training the on-the-job juvenile volleyball coaches to knowsports injury prevention knowledge, training should be prominent practical. To increase its training conceptand coaching ability training, to promote the establishing scientific attitude of teenagers, and arrangedifferent training according to their own development characteristics of different juvenile volleyball players,especially the "young plant players" in the actual training in order not for the early results, quick scores.Haste makes waste.3. Young volleyball players who are easily injured in upper and lower limbs joints and the waist intraining should pay attention to:(1) improve the whole body in the power base based on joint stabilityability the enhancement attention, including the muscles around the power of the ligament joints tostrengthen and improve the joint proprioception. For lower limb joints, in addition to conventional forcesoutside the practice and can be used in different load slope on different forms of exercise and obtain theability enhancement.(2) strengthen the core strength training, improve the transfer of power in the upperand lower limbs between efficiency and improve the body stability control ability, prevent the waist damage occurs.(3) players to organize the implementation of serious activities, pay attention to therationality of the content, pay attention to different environment (especially cold environment), differentathletes prepare for the activities of the individual.(4) to develop quantitative sports injury prevention planand make preventive measures to carry out specific clear.4. The coaches should give the athletes health education, especially in technical-tactical exercises indaily training through the reasonable approaches in order to guide players forming correct experience andmuscle feeling, so as to improve the athlete’s tactics application ability and physical control ability.
