Primary And Secondary School Teachers' Emotional Labor And Emotional Exhaustion And Related Factors Of Research

Emotional Labor means that one adjusts and manages his own feeing at work in order to express specific emotion which the organization needs. As to elementary and middle school teac hers. The Emotional Labor not only affects their physical and moral integrity, but also has tremen dous influence on students’physical and mental integrity. Therefore, teachers’Emotional Labor research is precisely based on the humanities concern and the care of teachers’internal needs. In this research we chose264elementary and middle school teachers form Hunan as our research objects. We explored the structure and features of Teachers’Emotional Labor, analysed the relations hip between Emotional Labor, Emotional Intelligence, Social Support and Emotional Exhaustion. Our research results are as follows. Our research results are as follows.The Emotional Labor of the Hunan middle and primary school teachers is in a higher level, and Passive Deep Acting> Active Deep Acting>Surface Acting; while the Emotional Exhaustion is in middle level. There is no significant relationship between Emotional Labor and Emotional Exhaustion; the Surface Acting has outstanding positive prediction effect on Emotional Exhaustion; the passive deep acting has negative prediction effect on Emotional Exhaustion, the regulation of emotion and the society supporting has positive prediction on active deep acting the regulation of emotion and the society supporting the self-emotional appraisal has positive prediction on passive deep acting; the use of emotion has positive prediction on surface acting; Furthermore,the emotional labor of teachers who were in different background is different in sex,education back ground and school.
