This paper makes a survey on the middle school teachers,we investigated the effect ofhumor style of middle school teachers on the relationship between job stress and subjectivewell-being. We discussed about: the relationship between job stress and subjective well-bing; therelationship between humor style and subjective well-being; the moderating effect on therelationship between job stress and subjective well-bing. The author collected the data byquestionnaires and selected middle school teachers as survey object. We analyzed the thesis byusing descriptive statistics, analysis of variance, correlation analysis and regression analysis.The major results indicate that:1. The survey demonstrated that the teachers job stress is higher in general. The top three jobstress sources are from the students,examinations,and their self-development needs.2. Demographic variables have significant differences in the job stress, humor style andsubjective well-being of middle school teachers.3. There is a significant negative correlation between job stress and subjective well-being.4. There is a significant positive correlation between affiliative humor、self-enhancing humor andsubjective well-being; is a significant negative correlation between aggressive humor、mockinghumor and subjective well-being.5. Humor style as a moderating effect on the relationship between job stress and subjectivewell-bing. affiliative humor and self-enhancing humor are helpful to mitigate the negative effectof job stress on subjective well-being.Through this research, we can have a better understanding of the middle school teachers,jobstress situation and subjective well-being situation, and have a suggestion that how the humorstyle as a moderating effect on the middle school teachers, it can help the middle school teachers,job stress maintain at a fine level and improve the middle school teachers,subjective well-being.
