There are Education reforms in many countries in the world today. The education reform needs based upon the theory of education. Constructivist learning theory believes that children do not passively accept the knowledge, actually the knowledge is actively constructed in the cognitive process of knowledge. Teaching theory of Constructivism learning theory opposes traditional teaching theory, their emphasis is switched from teaching to learning, from knowledge to ability which has a profound impact on the reform of mathematics teaching in middle school. After the reflection on traditional teaching,the paper try to guide the practice of mathematics teaching which is based on constructivist learning theory in order to promote middle school mathematics teaching reforms.This article introduces the background of constructivist learning theory, makes it clear the purpose and significance of the research. It describes constructivist learning theory and its application in the junior secondary school mathematics teaching through four parts. Firstly, give a basic overview for constructivist learning theory, introduces the theoretical basis of constructivist learning theory and its great effect in mathematics teaching, and analyzes the applicability of constructivist learning theory in mathematics teaching. Second, the author describes problems in teaching and the advantages of constructivist learning theory through reflecting upon the traditional teaching theory. Third, having explored the practice of mathematics teaching modes guided by constructivist learning theory. The constructivist learning theory permeates mathematics teaching,including analysis of teaching objectives, the establishment of teaching content, the design of teaching processes, and so on.The paper explores junior middle school mathematics teaching modes and the processes of practice under the instruction of constructivist learning theory,and the paper introduces the application of constructivist learning theory by the cases. Fourth, aiming at features for mathematics, explored under the guidance of Constructivism teaching mode of middle school.The author introduces teaching mode and teaching principle, demonstrates the effectiveness of the teaching mode.This mode can stimulate the interest of junior high school students in mathematical learning,enhance the students’awareness, cultivate innovation ability, and have good teaching results. Finally, to reflect on the problems of guiding teaching mode in mathematics practice. The purpose of the paper is to explore mathematics teaching reform in junior middle school,to practice the implementation of constructivist learning theory for a little support and help. |
