With the continuous development of society,the scientific and cultural quality of the people needs to be improved.Mathematical education plays an increasingly important role,mathematical education not only enables people to master some of the knowledge of mathematics,but more importantly,it can help people improve their ability to learn.In recent years,mathematics educators in China are constantly exploring new mathematics teaching strategies,and scaffolding teaching based on constructivist learning theory is a teaching strategy that conforms to the current trend.Scaffolding teaching based on constructivist learning theory is a teaching strategy.Teachers start from the current level of development of learners and aim at higher development level,and continuously cultivate learners' knowledge,skills and innovative abilities,unleash and develop the potential of students.In the teaching,the main position of the learner and the guidance and assistance of the teacher are fully embodied.Under this teaching strategy,students can exert their initiative,enthusiasm and creativity to a greater extent,thus improving their overall quality.This paper collects a large amount of literature on constructivist learning theory and scaffolding teaching and organizes it,fully understand the research trends of scaffolding teaching at home and abroad,the theoretical origin of constructivist learning theory,and the type of scaffolding teaching(Problem bracket,contrast bracket and emotional bracket)and Basic links(building scaffolding,creating problem situations,independent exploration,collaborative learning,and performance evaluation).Due to the high content of high school mathematics,this paper mainly uses classroom observation method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to investigate the teaching status of high school probability statistics,the survey results show that the current problems in students learning mathematics are: In the process of teaching,students often encounter problems that are not met by rote learning;Students' interest in learning is not high when the content of the teaching involves abstract knowledge;It is difficult for students to apply the knowledge they have learned to practical problems after learning new knowledge.Aiming at these problems,a scaffoldingteaching strategy is proposed to build a scaffold,create a situation,explore and collaborate,and evaluate the effect,and the teaching principles should be based on student-centered,problem-centered,contextualized and collaborative communication.Based on the above strategies and principles,the scaffolding teaching is applied to the mathematics teaching of high school probability statistics,the teaching design is given by taking stratified sampling as an example.
