Basic enucational courses improvement is required to change, the traditionalteaching mode that centers on teachers.But any producing of teaching mode hasits own background, practical demanding,theoretical foundation and objectivematerial conditions."Teaching mode of independent study"in maths that theauthor constructs comes from this situation. The paper looks back firstly at the traditional teaching mode in our countryand provides the idea,basis and the signifance of reforming the tralitionalteaching mode.Secondly,it provides the theoretical faundation of theconstruction of the new teaching mode:the theory of construction. It expoundsthe history and development,the significance and studying methods as well asthe directions of independent study teaching mode. It also designs theeducational objective ,principal and the basic procedures .Finally the authorcarries on an experimental research, analyses and explains the result. Teaching mode of independent study is based on the theory ofconstruction.This paper mainly discusses the directive significance of theconstruction theory on the teaching mode of independent study inmathematics.This mode was discussed for the purpose of the disadvantages ofthe traditional teaching mode.Its total teaching object is that: during theconstruction about basic kmowledge and basic skill in mathematics,leadingstudents to take part in the procedure of teaching, constructing students'principal status,training students' ability in explorating the knowledge actively,researching and constructing him/her master the knowledge.So it is useful totrain students' principal consciousness, spirit of exploration and independentstudy habits, developing students' cognition element and uncognition elementharmoniously. And it is the base of students' studying and working. Here is itsprocedure:eachaer'sdirecting :innovating evironments—instructing and directing—promoting cooperation—directing and improving—kepping the motive| | | | |Students' principal status:exciting the motive—independent exploration—cooperating removing—reflective adjastment and creating—constructing↑ __ ↑ _____ ↑ _____ ↑ ____ ↑Reaction and Adjustment;Self-controlThis basic procedure includes not only the activities of the teacher'sdirecting and students' principal status ,but also the students'wholeresponses,adjustment and self—control.In order to test and verify the feasibilityof this mode,the author makes investigation on the teaching quality and somerelative experiment on teaching results.According to the experiment results,four conclusions have been reached:exciting the interest in math,developing theidea of students' principal status, increasing the power to study independently andimproving the grades.
