"Reborn Action Item" In The Intervention Of Social Work

"Cleft lip and palate" is a congenital disease, which is the disaster for the patients or their families. It makes effects on patients and their families causing problems on physiology, psychology and society. Recently the "cleft lip and palate" gradually arouses the attention of the society. Currently the charity program mainly emphasizes on providing free operation treatment for the poor of cleft lip and cleft palate patients, paying less attention to the psychosocial needs of patients and their families. And this "reborn action on psychosocial support services"(the project is hereinafter referred to as the reborn action) is the breakthrough, through the recruitment of family members of patients with cleft lip and palate, in the form of social group work method for intervention on cleft lip and palate patients family, according to the project evaluation, project plans, social work, social work assessment, official involved in the case, group social work project rethinking a series of processes in order to provide psychosocial support for patients with cleft lip and palate families.
