Approaches And Methods From The Perspective Of Education On The Viewpoints Of Happiness For College Students From Poor Families

In the history of thousands of years, people always seek for a life with happiness. However, what is happiness? And how can people be happy? Happiness is endowed with diverse definitions and understandings by different individuals. As the representatives of modern younger generation, college students, the thoughts and values of who are the current mainstream and direction, have been seen as the hopeful future for the whole country and nation. Also as the potential backbone of the society, college students are required to build up the common values and especially healthy values of happiness, which is of great significance to their personal growth and success. It’s worth mentioning that college students with family financial difficulties form a common but special group of the each university. Bearing the job pressure, they, meanwhile, have to face up to the special family background and growing environment that may have made them psychologically sensitive. Therefore, we need to pay particularly more attention to the cultivation of their values of happiness.The current thesis, based on the theoretical research foundation in the histories of both home and abroad, focuses on the methodology of optimizing the values of happiness for the students with family financial difficulties. It adopts the method of questionnaire survey, and makes specific analysis of the problems they have encountered with happiness recognition and those with the behaviors in the pursuit of happiness. Afterwards, the thesis, with Marx’s view of happiness as its theoretical instruction, proposes the strategies and solutions to happiness education for the that particular group of students:1、Social environment, the foundation of building up the correct happiness values, needs to be optimized so as to create the proper condition and environment that are helpful to happiness education;2、the key factors that the university’s instruction should emphasize, are to make the contents of happiness education scientific, the formalities with different levels and the methods lively;3、family has always been seen as the cradle of building correct happiness values, thus, parents should cooperate firmly with the university, emphasize happiness education and improve the education methods;4/self-cultivation is the core of building up correct happiness values. The students should promote the personal humanities accomplishment and strengthen the building of moral personalities.
