Research On Human-oriented Students’ Administration Of Independent Colleges

The form of Independent colleges is a new one of educational organization. It came into being only recently as a result of China’s higher educational reform.It is neither the same as the college in the traditional University—College—Department construction,or privately owned universities.Instead,it refers to secondary college providing four-year undergraduate program as guided by general universities,which is a new educational system.With economic development and institutional transformation, the expansion of Independent Colleges and the increasing in the number of the students, there are many new situations and new problems in students’administration, at the same time, facing with new opportunities and challenges. In this paper, we use“human-oriented”theory as perspective, in order to help students develop initiative and creativity, promote the health growth and comprehensive development of management objectives, system of the Independent College Student management. Combined with the characteristics of independent college students, analysis the problems of the independent college students’administration and their causes, research the strategy of the Independent College Students’management. To achieve the student-oriented administration authentically, it is necessary to adopt the concept of service and perfect the mechanism of service; to provide enough managing staff of students and at the same time improve their capability, hence forming a managing staff with specialized knowledge and high degrees; to create a favorable environment for the students and implement affective administration so that teachers and students can live in harmony with each other; to give full scope to the initiative of the students, in this way they can teach themselves, manage by themselves and participate in the administration work; and last but not least to draw up rules and regulations, which ensures the smooth implementation of the administration practice.
