Research Of The Administration Management In Service-Oriented Local Colleges And Universities Under The Background Of Establishing Double First-Rate Colleges And Universities

Colleges and universities,which are part of civil societies,have an irreplaceable social status.The main task of their work is to foster talents,carry out academic research,serve the present society and inherit and promote cultures.The administrative work in colleges and universities is a very important part of the whole school work,which cannot be ignored.However,under the national background of building a service-oriented government and establishing world-class universities and first-class disciplines,the conventional administration management in colleges and universities can no longer satisfy the development of colleges and universities nowadays.Therefore,speeding up the change of the inappropriate philosophy and practiceof local colleges and universities administration management into a service-oriented one is the prime task in college and university reform.Through Business Process Reengineering and New Public Service Theory,this article demonstrates the problems of the conventional local college and university administration management and the reasons for these problems,pointing out that an inevitable road in the local college and university administration management transition is de-administration.Considering the competitions among localcolleges and universities under the national background of building double first-rate colleges and universities andthe social requirements for thetransition and development of the local colleges and universities,taking Guangdong MM College for example,the author tries to find out the basic idea of the construction of the administration management in a service-oriented local college or university,therefore to improve the scientificalness and effectiveness of the construction.
