This article based on the current situation of music teaching in primary schools in China, music teaching in primary schools in the country, dance, music and action language more closely together, make every child ready to take part in musical activities, rhythm-driven, Orff’s teaching thought of better integration into the teaching session, focusing on comprehensive and creative, develop students ’ creativity. The students to the music quality is improved. Orff’s music teaching system is development of child-oriented, leading the children to study music in the game, master learning method in the game. It advocated music learning and action, dance, language, closely together, in the course of study in music, everyone can personally involved, performance and create real music of its own, so as to improve the creative ability of students.Current situation and existing problems of the current primary school music class, such as the importance to the teaching of basic knowledge, basic skills, ignored on the teaching process and results to aesthetic views on education as the core, results do not only attach importance to teaching ideas in the process of fundamental change. Excellent comparative analysis of music lesson, learn good ways, references to my school music teaching, Orff’s teaching and primary music course for consolidation practices may improve students ’ music of quality. Combined with the proper application of Orff’s music teaching method in primary school lesson for analysis and present their own proposals. Let the child fell into a completely relaxed, natural and pleasant atmosphere for learning. To improve the quality of music teaching in primary schools. To consolidate new music curriculum and Orff’s teaching practice conducive to improving musical quality will help stimulate students interest and facilitating student thinking ability, develop students ability of thinking, cultivate cooperation spirit. The authors hope that this paper on the reform of music teaching in primary schools to some reference value and applicability.
