Rersearch On The Evaluation Indices System About College Counselors Team Construction

With the further reform on higher education, the college students’ideological and political education will be confronted by more and more new conditions. In recent years, our nation paid more attention to the college students’ideological and political education. In August 2004, The opinion about further strengthening and improving college students’ideological and political education was issued by our Central Committee and the State Council. In January 2005, The opinion about strengthening the construction of college counselors and class teachers team was issued by the Ministry of Education, which made the explicit instructions on how to construct the specialized, professional, expert college counselors team. Local education administration departments and colleges all take measures to strengthen and improve college counselors team construction, and obtained a series of achievements. However, in different areas and different colleges, the college counselors team construction is imbalanced. The relative demand from our nation and other departments on counselors team construction was not implemented timely; counselors team construction still exist many problems to be solved; the evaluation indices system about counselors team construction is not established. So, it has the theory and practice meaning to evaluate the counselors team construction effectively.This paper makes the research on the evaluation indices system about counselor team construction: firstly, the domestic and overseas research status about counselors team construction evaluation indices construction is summarized, and the characteristic and current situation of our college counselors team construction evaluation indices system is analyzed; secondly, the standard and principle about how to construct the college counselors team evaluation indices system is designed; thirdly, the feasibility about the evaluation on college counselors team construction is analyzed, and the evaluation indices system is constructed through investigation, expert interview and questionnaire; fourthly, the weight of each index is determined through evaluation method; fifthly, the implementation of the evaluation indices system is specified. This indices system provides a new thought and method on how to evaluate the college counselors team construction.
