College counselors are the backbone of college students’ Ideological and political education. The study of college counselors team has important significance to strengthen the work of Ideological and Political Education. Job satisfaction and organizational commitment are important organizational behavior factors for affecting employee behavior. This study investigated the college counselors’job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and understanded the current situation of college counselor job satisfaction and organizational commitment, then comparison and analysis from the demographic aspects of the instructor’s job satisfaction and organizational commitment. On this basis, this study conducted the research from the instructor of college counselors stable own reason, looking forward to the job satisfaction and organizational commitment from the angle to improve the qualities of the instructors based proposals, so as to promote the construction of college counselors.This research selected342college counselors in43universities of Shaanxi province as investigation sample, adopted the method of questionnaire to collect the data, used SPSS15.0to carry on the descriptive statistical analysis and variance analysis. Results of the study indicate:That college counselors’ job satisfaction and organizational commitment level is low; the demographic characteristics has a significantly effect on job satisfaction and organization commitment.Gender, education, research, and monthly income all have significantly affects on job satisfaction and organizational commitment,the entry time significantly affects job satisfaction, the marital status significantly affects organizational commitment.According to the above results, the study on the construction of college counselors team put forward five proposals for basing on job satisfaction and organizational commitment perspective.(1) The college counselors as an occupation, improve the employment mechanism, realize the counselors occupation development as soon as possible.(2) Increase training of college counselors, forming a regular school mechanism, specialized construction of counselor team efforts toward the development of.(3) Strengthening the construction of college counselors, improve the management system, rational counselor ladder model.(4) Pay attention to the growth and development of college counselors, improve the work of counselors recognition and affirmation.(5) The implementation of flexible management policies, establishing reasonable evaluation mechanism, to detect the counselors status timely.
