As a core discipline of the natural science, not only is physics basic course, but also it’s thestart of curriculum for the progress of science and technology. Apparently experiment isimportant in the education of science. The teaching of physics experiments affect the learning ofphysics, and it will improve the capability of study and form the science accomplishment.Physics experiment contains the knowledge of physics, and it will promote students’ ability. Inthe course of the experiment, students are trained to cooperate with each other in team.“Overcome one’s shortcomings by learning from other’s strong points”. The research of theother countries’science education contributes to our country’s education reform anddevelopment.In this paper, the author adheres to the ideological line of current education reform, in orderto compare our country’s science education with the other countries’. The purpose of this study isputting forward some suggestions for the reform development of physics experiment teaching inour country’s high school by comparative study of the implementation and guidance ofcurriculum policy, curriculum structure and contents, curriculum resources, mode and content ofteaching as well as the goal and evaluation of curriculum and so on in different countries in theworld, based on the national conditions, history of physics education or the current educationproblems.It always attaches importance to the experiment in the class of physics in high school.Along with the deepening of the education reform, the probe through experiment has begun toreplace the original model about directed by teachers in physics class. But exploration of thestudents experiment by themselves just only is an important link in current physics experiments’teaching in middle school. It’s not the only style.If you want to know the current education, you have to know the history of the education’sdevelopment. The earliest physics education accumulated little by little continuously attached tothe circulation of various types of production experience. At the same time it is necessary to lookfor the roots of western physics education or scientific education in the research of physicsexperiments’education.In modern times, it has been proved time and time again that the prosperity of a countryalways accompanied the successful implementation of educational reform, political reform andmilitary reform. Governments have profoundly understood that education is the foundation ofone country. In different countries the education of science and technology is being reformed and innovated strongly. As an important part of science and technology’s education the physicsexperiment teaching in middle school can’t be ignored because it closely relates to variousaspects.Any good movies often depend on a good script. The standard of curriculum is the script ofeducation. At first this paper pays attention to compare the requirement of physics experiments’education in the standard of curriculum and the actual setting of experiment in the physicstextbooks under the course standard between different countries in the world, in order to find thedifferences of physics experiment teaching in middle school.This paper comprehensively surveys the physics experiments’teaching in secondary schoolabroad in order to know the foreign development situation of physics experiment teaching inmiddle school in the context of the history and culture’s development as well as the reform ofcurriculum. Complementary investigations focus on Spain, Canada, Singapore, and Taiwan andso on, in order to understand the physics experiment teaching in middle school morecomprehensively in other countries and provide a better research material of physics experimentteaching development in our country’s high school, mainly in the mainland.Study shows that the gap of physics experiments’teaching in secondary school betweenChina and the other countries or area is not obvious, especially the school building is not ininferior position. It still needs more work in the aspect of students’performance evaluation suchas the test of practical ability. Lessons of physics experiment also need to increase. We shouldenhance the concept of“the equality between teachers and students”in education farther.Teachers should also be a student again to learn more. Developing teachers’own innovativecapacity is likely to develop students’ awareness of innovation.
