Hu Tu as an official of Jinguo in the Spring and Autumn Period. Thebelief in Hu Tu centers on Huye Mountain, covering four counties likeJiaocheng Jiaocheng Qingxu and Loufan, based on the related theoryof folklore, using the method of the field work, the literature researchand comparison research method, this paper has filed the generation,evolution contents of the belief in Hu Tu and has investigated deeplythe inner link between Hu Tu belief and the public life, but also hasanalyzed the relationship between the belief in Hu Tu and public lifethrough the description of the temples, temple fair and ritualperformance. Finally, this paper predicts the inheritance trend of thebelief in Hu Tu in today’s society.Full text article is divided into three parts including theIntroduction, the main body and the conclusion. The introduction ofthe thesis expounds mainly the aim, significance, academic historyreview, the research methods, source, related concepts and HuyeMountain of natural geography at the belief in Hu Tu and humanhistorical environment. The main body part for four chapters: the firstchapter is the historical features of the belief in Hu Tu, filed the beliefin Hu Tu generation, evolution contents, including real historical figures, people’s worship deities and deified reason etc; The secondchapter is about the statement and interpretation of regulations andhistory of the different temples; The third chapter studies on templefairs and the performances related closely with public life, centeringon analyzing the fair’s history, fair content, and the rituals of thetemple; The fourth chapter has discussed the relations between thebelief in Hutu and public life，based on the previous texts.Interpretation is given of Hu Tu legend, story and public life appealsreflected by daily ritual activities, analyzing the relations of mutualinfluence and between the belief in Hu Tu and public life.Based on the full text, the last part is the summary, thinking andpredicting the inheritance trend of the belief in Hu Tu. With strongvitality in the people’s life, the belief in Hutu is so ingrained andrelated closely with public life that it has its own cultural inertia. Evenso, it also inevitably changes with public life so as to adapt to thedevelopment of modern society. The development Hutu belief is a longprocess, so it is necessary to think about its development in thefuture.
