The preschool education is focal point of our education system while it is also the week link of foundational education in China. Recently, the community pays more and more attention to the preschool education. Developing preschool education energetically is mentioned in the National outline about educational reform and development in medium and long-term. And it is also mentioned that the country must promote teachers’ status and treatment and strengthen the construction of teaching body. Teacher plays a key role in all links of childhood education. If we want to improve and develop the quality of teaching, we must to face the fact that our gender structure of teacher team is unbalanced. The construction of teaching body is important to the quality of preschool education and each task in the kindergarten. There are more and more male teachers join in the teaching body of kindergarten as the important meaning of preschool education is known by people. At the same time, this phenomenon arises some problems which we should pay attention to.This paper tries to discuss that whether the childhood education needs male teachers to join in, analyses the male teachers’advantage and disadvantage in the professional development in kindergartens, and tries to provide some strategies and advices.This paper is divided into five parts:Part I:Discusses the theoretical significance of the research topic, clarify the practical significance of this research, descript the content and approach of the research and the specific research methods as well.Part II:Mainly to clarify the overall situation of male teachers of kindergartens in our country and illustrate the occupation status of these male teachers.Part III:Mainly to clarify the physical truth of three male teachers in kindergarten by the method of narrative research.Part IV:Mainly to analyze the affect to the children education and teaching body development from male teachers, and illustrate the problems and troubles of them in the career.Part V:Try to put forward proposals for male teachers from the following aspects: country/Training institutions/kindergartens/male teachers/community.
