An Analysis On The Cultural Reason Of Junior High School Students’ Dropout In NingQiang County

We all know it is the fact that compulsory education is for free since 2006. But it is should be paid close attention to that the percent of junior high school students dropping out is rising again. In other words, it isn’t main reason for dropout that they are too poor to pay for education. NingQiang is in the same condition, even more serious. According to the survey material, there are two types recessive and dominant dropping-out, and the recessive is mostly critical. Recently, it isn’t poor but the especial culture causing the junior high school students dropping out. So, the research will explore the culture source to this problem, adopting fieldwork.Qualitative research is effective to study this problem, of course, it is necessary to understand the overall situation, quantization method. In addition, information was arranged, and the research results were written, according to situational analysis.The flood of economic, unemployment of college students,’wenchuan’ earthquake, and so on, promote the subculture, detail features of which are utilitarian outlook on going to school, confusion and panic, enjoying every times and determinism. These ideas and behavior lead students to leave school.To dispose of the problem, this study considers that it is critical to root out the idea that negates value of going to school, key to construct county culture, and complementary to enhance the dialogue between student sub-culture and mainstream culture in school, Analyzing the culture reason of junior students’ dropping out in NingQiang, its a change of expiation frame firstly. Moreover, this research will offer help to resolve the junior high school students’ dropping out in NingQiang. As to dropping out in other area, this study might be used for reference to some extent.
