Junior high school is an important part of China's nine-year compulsory education and the dropout of junior high school students in rural schools is an important problem that plagues China's education development.Education is the main way for rural students to achieve social movements upward,otherwise,it rests on all the life ideals and expectations of rural children.In recent years,rural junior high school students have changed from “passive dropouts” forced by the past economy to“active dropouts”caused by non-economic factors.It is particularly important to explore the reasons behind this transition to control the dropout rate of rural junior high schools.Thus,this paper manages to explore the reasons why rural junior high school students drop out of school,with a view to making effective suggestions.This research basically conducted an empirical investigation of a rural middle school in G town,Qianjiang,Hubei province.The interview and case analysis methods were used to investigate the current situation of rural junior high school dropouts.It is found that in rural middle schools,students choose to drop out of school every year Concentrating on the last semester of junior high school,the dropout behavior is usually based on the student's disciplinary behavior,but the dropout behavior is by no means a simple cause,but an outbreak of long-term accumulation of multiple contradictions that cannot be resolved.Rural school dropout junior high school students have three characteristics,namely "marginal people","lone people" and "heterogeneous people".In order to study the reasons for rural junior high school students 'dropout,this study uses Bandura's social learning theory and Willis' s bottom culture production theory to analyze the problem of rural junior high school students' dropout from the perspective of teachers,peer group and parents.Deviations,lack of affection in peer relationships,and the absence of parental roles are the main causes of dropouts.To improve the current situation of rural junior high school dropouts,need to start from three aspects: teachers,students and families.Firstly,it is necessary to improve the professional quality of teachers,so as to build a harmonious teacher-student relationship between teachers and students.At the same time,teachers must establish the correct concept of students;secondly,to improve students 'communication ability,the school guides students' communication correctly and helps Students establish the correct concept of choosing friends,and actively carry out the school's care and education work;finally,give play to the educational function of the family,strengthen the parent's educational ability,change the parent's educational concept,help parents establish the correct educational concept,and enable family education Functions are effectively performed.
