Problem of migrant children's education in China arise in the process of rapid urbanization and large scale population migration. Due to the restrictions of access to school, migrant children face the fate of looking for new acceptance schools upon their graduation. Furthermore, high degree migration for the location and the students of migrant children's schools and constant replacement of vocations and locations for migrant children's family also contributes to their high dropout rate in the primary middle school.There are more studies on problem of the dropout in rural middle school. However, little effort has been made to the research on the dropout of migrant children in their urban middle school phase. Therefore, this study will bring the problem of migrant children dropout into surface, thus causing people's wide attention to problem of migrant children dropout in their urban middle school phase.Studies on dropout mostly adopt quantitative research method. There are few qualitative study articles about dropout question from the case perspective in domestic in China. This article adopt the qualitative research method embracing in-depth case interview, observation method and literature. It will take an example of some migrant children's school in beijing and select 10 dropout cases to conduct the detailed description and analysis of migrant school's dropouts at the micro-level. The process of growth and study for migrant children will be analyzed to discover the key events and true reasons which lead to the childen's dropouts. Their psychology states will be observed and their inside real thinking will be understood. Through the descriptions of their daily events, we can analyze their ideas and go deep into their life which can reflect the richness and speciality of this problem.Superficially, migrant children dropout is the result of the failure to afford the tuition due to the poor economic condition. However, if analyzed at a deep level, it is a result of the poverty culture which is typical of migrating population. Theory of culture poverty provides the theoretic support in the explanation of non economic factor of migrant children.This article will be conducted by placing the problem of migrant children dropout under the frame of poverty culture theory and under the general social background. The first chapter of the article analyzes the dropout status of migrant children in junior middle school and also gives us a vivid description of children dropout's life destination as well as their future plans. Reasons of migrant children dropout will be explored from the aspect of their families, schools, individuals as well as the society in the second chapter. And the basic strategy will be proposed for resolving the problem of migrant children dropout, from the aspect of establishing effective social support system, strengthening school management and improving education environment as well as strengthening family education.
