In order to know the situation of immigrant children of ZhengZhou city that include family status, class climate, social identity,self-esteem and school adjustment. Explore the relations among the variables above.Via the questionnaire method, use Family scale, class atmosphere scale, social identity questionnaire, self-esteem scale, schools adaption questionnaire, selected610students three junior middle school of zheng zhou city, the surveys were issued to students and parents matching questionnaires. Using SPSS16.0and Amos17.0to deal with data processing.The result find that there was significant difference between immigrant children and native children by the Educational Level of parents, kids number of family, father’s work type,housing area, housing type, class climate, self-esteem and school adjustment (p<0.001). Among different schools, the floating children’s class atmosphere, self-esteem, school adaption are significant difference, public school is better than private school (p<0.001). The girl’s relationship between teachers and students and school adaption total score significantly better than boys are (p<0.05), the girl to the conventional adaption significantly better than boys are (p<0.001).80.9%floating children’s social identity was fuzzy, significant difference of the length of time to Zhengzhou bewteen children identity both city and country and other way of identification (p<0.05). Multiple regression analysis found that immigrant children self-esteem influence factors including class climate, family human capital, social identity; the influence factors of school adjustment of the floating children including class climate, self-esteem, social identity. Structure equation analysis found that class climate(β=0.388,p<0.001),self-esteem(β=0.381, p<0.001) may directly influence to the school adjustment, the class climate (β=0.381,p<0.001), via the indirect effect of self-esteem to influence school adjustment, indirect effect of value take27.25%. Human capital(β=0.146, p<0.05) via the indirect effect of self-esteem to influence school adjustment, effect of value is 0.06. The degree of fitting of the model is all more than0.9.Find immigrant children and native children’s school adjustment, class climate, self-esteem was well, but at the three parts native children were significant better than the floating children. The floating children’s social identity is mostly fuzzy. With a good class climate and family human capital, it will improve the development of the floating children’s self-esteem and school adjustment, so the floating children choose public schools with good conditions will be better for the development of self-esteem and their scool adjustment.
