Study On Chang-Zhu-Tan Urban Agglomeration Of Population Distribution Changes In Characteristics And Influencing Factors

As national resource-saving and environment friendly society to build a comprehensive reform experimental area, Chang-Zhu-Tan Urban Agglomeration is one of the economic growth center in Hunan Province and in Central China. Researching Chang-Zhu-Tan Urban Agglomeration of Population distribution characteristics and influencing factors, is contribute to better coordina the PRED relations of Chang-Zhu-Tan Urban Agglomeration, and speed up Chang-Zhu-Tan Urban Agglomeration, "two-type" society.Taking 23 districts and counties of Chang-Zhu-Tan Urban Agglomeration as the study objection, In this paper gained from the third, fourth, fifth census materials (1982,1990,2000), and all previous statistic yearbooks about all cities in the Chang-Zhu-Tan Urban Agglomeration, the change situation of population distribution in Chang-Zhu-Tan Urban Agglomeration was explained. Then characteristics of population density, the focus of population and population models had been particularly analyzed since 1978's. It was shown that there are many differences among the population amplitudes in different cities, with lower increase of population density. The distribution is of concentration-decentraliza-tion pattern, and center of gravity moves from northwest to southeast.After knowing the changes in spatial distribution of population in Chang-Zhu-Tan Urban Agglomeration, the factors that influent population distribution was described, mainly from the natural and factors, economic factors, transport factors and policy factors. For natural factors, the natural relief, hydrological conditions on the distribution of population was analyzed. For economic factors, mainly collects the economic and social indicator data, and then explained population change and economic relations by the establishment of multiple regression models.Finally, based on the change characteristics and influencing factors of Chang-Zhu-Tan Urban Agglomeration's population distribution, proposed some suggestions, for how to rational layout population and how to guide the overall socio-economic development in Chang-Zhu-Tan Urban Agglomeration.
