Analysis On Network Channels Of Campus Cultural Construction

The campus culture is an important part of the university culture, is the epitome ofhuman civilization in a specific period and the specific conditions and embodies thedistinctive characteristics of the times intensively.As Fritjog Capra said," the network isa pattern that is common to all life. Wherever we see life, we see networks."In theprocess of the transition from the industrial society to the network society, networkchannels are the only way for the construction of the campus culture to the higherstages of development.In the view of the construction of campus culture, the network is a tool, not an end.On the one hand, network channels have a profound impact on the content, form andprocess of the construction of the campus culture; on the other hand, networkchannels can not achieve the goals, objectives, and the essence of the construction ofthe campus culture fully. At the same time, owing to the characteristics of the networkitself, such as openness, freedom, virtual, infinite, and differences of network users inmoral quality, background, values, behavior choice, network channels of the campusculture construction both show many incomparable advantages and a series ofunavoidable problems, not only usher in more opportunities, but also facing morechallenges.Network channels of the campus culture construction are not limited to thecampus internal network. With the development of computer technology and thechange of people’s ideas, the connection between university and society isincreasingly close. University staff and students choose to participate in off-campusnetwork and campus culture-related information exchange, cultural activities alsoconstitute a part of the campus culture, and play an important role. In addition, theparticipants of network channels can enjoy equality, freedom and democracy to thegreatest extent, thus, to maximize the mobilization of all the enthusiasm, initiative andcreativity to serve the construction of campus culture.This paper adopts the perspective of the methodology and instrumental reason toexplore network channels of the campus culture construction. Text is divided into threeparts, the first part to show the developing status of network channels of the campusculture construction in terms of the construction of hardware, software, and the levelof peoples’participation; the second part to analyze the main problems that appearedin the development of network channels of the campus culture construction; the thirdpart, combined with the laws of network development and the subject demands, to explore developing countermeasures and suggestions of network channels of thecampus culture construction.
