With higher vocational education development of30years, it has become one of the mosteffective and most practical education modes to promote the social productive forces. But we still have toface the fact that although higher vocational education has been largely recognized by the public, the highervocational education is still in a sandwich layer between higher education and career education in theprocess of actual policy implementation and practice. There is a large gap to stride and higher vocationaleducation is still in the stage of no brand compared with advanced higher vocational education in foreigncountries. How to let the higher vocational education enjoy a healthy, harmony, sustainable developmenthas become an urgent research subject. The issue of creating a brand has been paid more and more attentionby the government managers. Many higher vocational colleges have gradually put the brand construction asthe development of the school strategic planning of content. As it were, higher vocational education brandabstractly represents all the content of a vocational college, which is a consumers’ perceptual and culturaloverall to the college. Higher vocational education brand is not only different from other identificationmarks of higher vocational colleges and credibility symbol, but also a kind of silent commitment toconsumers of high education.In this paper, the successful experience of enterprise to create a brand is applied to the field ofeducation, and a concept of higher vocational education brand has been proposed. And it is designedto draw on and analyze the relevant factors in the process of implementation of the corporate brand strategyand make efforts to build a model and explore the law created by the vocational college brand. It looksforward to provide a theoretical basis of building brand in Henan Province for higher vocational institutionsand enhancing their competitiveness. This thesis is discussed how to create the higher vocationaleducation brand strategy from the background of subject selection, significance of the investigation theconcept of higher vocational education brand, the development of higher vocational education, and themodalities and means of vocational education brand implementation strategy in Henan province.Nowadays, with the fast development of the globalization of world economy and theinternationalization of higher education, the competition in higher education is becoming increasingly fierce. For higher vocational education of Henan province, a feasible solution to survive the fiercecompetition and gain room for self development is to build core competitiveness of the higher vocationalcollege brands and vigorously implement the brand development strategy. In order to build brand, highervocational college must seek correct route: First fight for the support of the policies and fund in Henanprovince and second to accumulate comparative advantage in the aspects of educational philosophy,personnel training, professional development and management innovation. to build vocational educationbrand is a fundamental key to improving educational strength and taking a route of connotativedevelopment and it is the effective measure to create the good image of the higher vocational colleges andto win the social concern and support.
