The thesis aims to analysis and clarify the dewey’s interest education thoughts systematically. There are three parts in the paper.The first part,mainly analyze the time background that dewey form his special interest education thoughts, which includes the American Society for the education reform requirement; The field of education and psychology of scholars on interest theory research in particular Herbart is many sided interest theory of interest in the study of great influence and promote;" Teaching psychology sports" sustainable development. At the same time from philosophy, pedagogy and psychology analysis of three aspects of Dewey education thought formed the foundation of theoryThe second part from the four aspects of interest in Dewey education thoughts are discussed:the concept and connotation of interest; interest and education purpose and course; interest; interest and teaching. On the interest as the core concept of Dewey to build the view of education, curriculum and teaching conception undertook relatively systematic research.The third part focuses on the educational thought of Dewey in the history of the status and limitations of China s current educational reform enlightenment. Dewey pioneered the" interest in psychology"; enrich the traditional curriculum system; created the" interest" education theory’s heyday. Dewey’s interest in educational thoughts have certain limitations, mainly based on the theory of instincts manifested in children centralism discusses interest; an ideal and interest in the role of exaggerated; neglect of the role of external factors. Dewey’s interest in education thought in today’s teaching practice and reform of education, especially for cultivating creative talents still has the important enlightenment significance.
