With the development of theory of the Ideological and Political Education, the ways of promoting implementation of ideological and political education have always been attached great importance. The subjectivity-oriented ideological and political education is based on the criticism of the traditional ideological and political education and aimed at more effectively and efficiently practicing the ideological and political education.This thesis is specified on the area of college and university on the exploring the implementation of the subjectivity-oriented ideological and political education. The subjectivity of this research is to reverse the defects and shortcomings that exist in the current ideological and political education, thus improving the effectiveness of ideological and political education. It will be helpful to the formation of harmonious campus and contribution to the practicing innovation of ideological and political education. The concept of subjectivity-oriented ideological and political education in colleges and universities has been comprehensively reviewed. The research findings and results relevant to the subject, subjectivity, subjectivity-oriented ideological and political education, as well as the education practice have been summarized at the beginning of this thesis. Based on these reviewed researched results, the urgency of subjectivity-orientation was analyzed in terms of ideology, temporal and spatial evolution, new media and undergraduate in new era. The diverse ideological and cultural highlights the new topics for the implementation of the ideological and political education; the times and social changes for the implementation of the colleges and universities give a new mission to the ideological and political education; the development of new media provides a new space for the implementation of the ideological and political education; the overall situation of the new generation of college students provides new challenges for the implementation of the ideological and political education. Therefore, the new situation faced by the new ideological and political education calls for attaching the significance of subjectivity-orientation for the implementation of the ideological and political education. Then, the current situation of lacking of subjectivity-orientation in ideological and political education was discussed profoundly in this thesis based on five aspects of manifestation in current education. The transformation of the concept of ideological and political education from traditional items to subjectivity-orientation has not practically been made; the methods of ideological and political education is limited now; assessment system of ideological and political education has not been fully established; the subjectivity quality of two main subject of ideological and political education requires improving; the process of ideological and political education do not well reflect the subjectivity. These problems have seriously hampered the implementation of the subjectivity-oriented ideological and political education at colleges. At last, aimed in excluding the aforementioned problems in the current ideological and political education, this thesis proposes several potential strategies to improving subjectivity-oriented ideological and political education at colleges and universities. Specifically, five aspects have been detailedly described in the following. Transformation of ideas, including establishing the dual-subjectivity conception, the integrated social and personal value, and the all-rounded development of educatees should be conducted at first. The second one is to explore new methods and approaches that include strengthening the social practice of ideological and political education, holding the dominant place in new era for ideological and political education. Then the assessment system should be perfected by incorporating the educatees to the extent of subject for evaluation, taking the subjectivity of educatees into consideration in criteria of evaluation. The fourth step is to promoting the subjectivity quality of subject of ideological and political education in the aspects of awareness of innovation and capacity, professional ability of educators and self-education ability of educatees. And the last one is to optimize the implementation processes of ideological and political education which contains the determination of optimization subjectivity, promotion of transformation from implementation influences to actual effectiveness, as well as the assessment and control of information feedback.
