In a highly modern society, the individual is increasingly fleeing away from the traditional institution, and gradually learning the application of rules and resources through self-reflection, thus the mode of interaction between different genders is facing an unprecedented transformation and updating. Under this circumstance, the female university students in contemporary China are more likely to repel the traditional women roles of patriarchy society because of their distinctive characteristics, which comprise highly academic credentials, fierce liquidity, strong female consciousness and highly capable of expressing the discourse. But the rebel is not separate from the social practice of the body, but rooted in and affected by the body of female students. Through sociology of the body and feminist perspective which provide us new theoretical resources, we can get a more in-depth understanding of this phenomenon. Specifically speaking, since the1960s and1970s, the western sociology has begun to fall into a series of crises, followed by which, there were constantly expanding in the reorientation of sociological theory and changes in the theoretical perspectives. The rise of the perspective about the body not only continued to question the traditional sociological theory which formed the ’theatrical illusion’ on separation between sociality and biological aspects, but also tried to go beyond the barriers between gender and sex which is driven by the second wave of feminism that wanted to make use of body to reappear a specific and real female agents. Therefore, through sociological theory of the body, we can know well about the social behavior of female university students in contemporary China. That is to say, we can use the concept of ’embodiment’ to get a better understanding how this group masters their body resource to cope with new situations and rapid changes in the society, and repel the female role in patriarchy society, the value recognition as well as the traditional space where they dwell in. However, the body rebel is bound to cause some social consequences and body reactions which exceed the scope of the patriarchal social structure. And under the framework of the ’society-biological’expression, the uncertainty is formed to attach to body of female university students of contemporary China. Theses neo-uncertainties are body risks in modern society which are produced by the body rebel and manifested by the body. Meanwhile they will re-integrate into the next round of body practice. Therefore, the body rebel and body risk are interrelated. This research reveals the reason why body rebel would happen in the group of female university students in contemporary China, which comprises the improvement of China’s female university student’ self-reflection, the impact of individualization wave, the development about science and technology, as well as the characteristics of this group. At the same time, the China’s female university students’ body rebel can be divided into four dimensions:individual bodily reshape, reflective body planning, subjectivity body pursuit as well as the technical body extending. At last, this research explores the dynamic complex relationship between the body risks and the female students’body rebel. So under this circumstance, body rebel, not a fractured body practice, will inevitably leads to the risk consequences which comprise the dys-appearance body, the body of new stigma and the atomic individual body. Meanwhile, independent biological boundaries of the body, the statute of the patriarchy and body rebel reflexivity give birth to the body risks.
