Curriculum reform requires to transform teaching mode and learning style. Group cooperative learning, a very common teaching mode which has been used from the new reform, plays an important role in the transformation of teaching mode and learning style. With the further development of the reform, high schools in rural area will also reform teaching mode or start a revolution about learning style. The author, who is a teacher in rural high school, also thinks how to transform teacher’s teaching modes and student’s learning styles. Based on personal teaching practice, this paper explores how to carry out group cooperative learning in rural high school history teaching. The paper, which mainly studies teaching practice, is divided into the following aspects:Part1Analyze the necessity and the feasibility of implementing group cooperative learning in rural high school history teaching.Part2Take <strengthening of the Ming and Qing Monarchy> People’s Education Press of Book I as an example. It talks about the practice and the exploration which implement group cooperative learning in rural high school history teaching. This part mainly discusses two aspects the teaching design and class implementation to carry out group cooperative learning in rural high school history teaching.Part3Reflect on the implementation of group cooperative learning in rural high school history teaching. Mainly analyze the reflection on the effectiveness and the evaluation of group cooperative learning, and at the same time, clarify the misunderstanding and problems about group cooperative learning.
