The Current Situation And Its Countermeasure Study On The Development Of Man Basketball Team Of Higher Technical And Vocational Institutions In Jiangsu

In recent years, many universities in Jiangsu have made remarkable achievements inthe development of the basketball team. However, the development of basketball team ofhigher technical and vocational institutions in Jiangsu is not optimistic, facing theundergraduates’ enthusiasm to the basketball and the good development situation.According to the preliminary investigation, most of the higher technical and vocationalinstitutions have their own basketball team in Jiangsu, but their performance is not verygood, even worse for many reasons.In previous basketball games, we can find our skills and tactics is not very good, forinstance, our basic skills are not solid, technique is not standardized, defensive foul is toomuch, the team are lack of aggressive and changeable defensive tactics, the means to attackis not various, proportion of fast break points is low and attacking tactics are lack offlexibility and the efficiency of team cooperation is low and so on. Therefore, it is ourpressing questions to lift sports standards and to keep up with the development ofbasketball game in general universities.By using such research methods as literature, interviews, questionnaires, statistics andon-site watching so on, this thesis makes a series of systematic research and analysis on thebasketball players, coach team, organization and management of the basketball team,practice and competition, and put forward following development strategies throughstudying the related factors.Firstly, the height, weight, age and some other natural conditions of men’s basketballplayers of the higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu render a better trend; athletes aremainly from ordinary middle schools, whose sports skill level is not high; contradictionsbetween studying and training of athletes are still relatively large, and the incentivemechanism in each school is not perfect. Secondly, men’s basketball team in higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu hasestablished a good situation of by regarding young coaches as the backbone. Most of thecoaches are from the sports college, majoring in physical education in normal colleges,who have higher levels of theory, but lack of coaching experience. Coach’s selection isbasically through direct appointment, which gives few specific training opportunities tocoach, and the mechanisms of reward and incentive are inadequate. On the whole,specialization and professional level of the basketball team of higher vocational colleges inour province is not high.Thirdly, the organization of men’s basketball team in Jiangsu high vocational Collegeis very single. The schools almost organize it by themselves, and the degree ofsocialization is very poor. Leader attention and funding is seriously out of touch with theneeds of the connotation construction of colleges and universities.Fourthly, the amount and the time of training for the men’s basketball team of highervocational colleges in Jiangsu maintains is at the secondary level; implementation of thetraining plan is not optimistic, and training routine lack of creative; on the whole, thetraining quality is not high and the training level need to be improved.Fifthly, basketball competition system of higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu is farfrom perfect. Session times and normalizing of basketball games in province, city andregional college is rare. The randomness of some events is very large. Less contestopportunities and less competition matches has been the main features of basketballcompetition in higher vocational colleges in our province.
