As an important psychology study proposition,Self-control has been attracting numerousChinese and foreign psychologists. Lotsof psychological researches on self-control haveexpanded the theoretical perspective about self-control. Such research help us to understandself-control from its structure constitute, the influencing factors, mechanism of action andpractical applications. Extension of the theory, in-depth develpment of practice bringsself-control new development opportunities. At the same time we understand the limitationsofits research ideas and methods. Especially since the1980s,as the original religiousconcepts in the Buddhist tradition,"mindfulness" is is included in the field of psychology.Mindfulness self-awareness and equanimity which has the body with two wings involvesawareness, awareness, non-judgmental and non-response. As an existingtheory rooted inEastern philosophy,“mindfulness" not only has a significant impact significant impact theresearch thought and content themes in modern psychology, but also gradually becomes aresearch focus at home and abroad.This article aims to take the study of self-control.into mindfulness framework to explorethe new method of self-control improvement. There are three studies will be concerned toachieve this aim.The content of study one and two are about the relationship between mindfulness andself-control and the effectiveness of the mindfulness meditation to improve self-control.investigate. Based on limited-resource theory of self-control in Study three we usedqualitative method to explore the reason of mindfulness methodto improve self-controlStudy one is about the relationship between mindfulness and self-control in genernalgroup population and the mindfulness meditation population. In this study we discussed therelationship between two concepts,two total scores and each two seprate factor scores.In study two we compared the pre-test scores with post-test and tracking test onminduleness and self-controlof24new and old students who Participate ten day Vipassanameditation course to explaore the effectiveness of mindfulness method to improve self-control.Based on the first two study we use qualitative research methods. In study three weinterview10Vipassina meditation participants and another5for tracking interviews. Weexplore the further reason about how mindfulness method to improve self-control in limitedresourse of self-comtrol as the anlyse theory frame work.The main conclusions obtained in this research are:(1) Regardless of Mindfulness population groups or general population groups therelatonship between mindfulness and self-control is positive. There are regression effectbetween Mindfulness and self-control, thus we can predict ones self-control from hismindfulenss level.(2) Regardless of Mindfulness population group or the general population group thepeople who participate10-day Vipassana meditation courses increase their Mindfulness levelat the same time their self-control to improve their self-control levels increased significantly,and differences in comparison with the control group significantly.(3) Mindfulness method helps people to improve their attation control, acceptance,non-judgement and relaxed tranquil statealleviate the self-depletion and improve theirself-conrtrol level.
