The Research On The Problems And Solutions In The Ice Sports Teaching Of General Colleges And Universities In Heilongiiang Province

Heilongjiang province is located in the North China, and its cold weather and ice period last for a long time in winter, which is suitable for learning and teaching activities of ice sports. Therefore, ice sports are inevitably peculiar to the physical education courses of winter in general colleges and universities of Heilongjiang province, and are the geographically unique and characteristic course. This paper applies such research methods as literature, expert interview, questionnaire, and mathematical statistics to investigate the situation of the winter ice courses in25general universities in Heilongjiang province, as well as analyzes and evaluates the results of the survey. The statistical results indicate that19out of25general colleges and universities in Heilongjiang Province opened ice sports courses in winter. The fact is that, however, it does not play an important role in the winter sports teaching in general colleges and universities of Heilongjiang province. Especially in recent years, less and less universities open the ice sports whereas those who have opened are not enthusiastic in it and the teaching effect is less satisfactory because of the following factors such as restrained teaching environment and conditions, the increasing number of college students, its reduced class hour caused by shorter ice period in winter, students’poor physical quality, students’low ice foundation, inadequate funds of universities, the terms adjustment, shortage of professional ice teachers. In view of the existing problems, this study proposes improvement in qualified teachers, teaching facilities, teaching materials and teaching methods, in order to promote the sound development of the ice courses.
