China is currently in an important period of education reform and development plan,National Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020) focuses on theoverall development of students, strengthening the mental health education to promotestudents’ physical and mental health, physical fitness, and strong will in the overall strategy. Itregards the improvement of the quality education, construction of teachers, especially primaryand secondary school class teachers as the task of the development of education in thefollowing decade, and it also considers primary and secondary school teachers team-buildingas a key project and reform in the next decade.Primary school class teacher is an important part of primary school teachers, leaders andorganizers of the class work, the guidance of the Class Construction, guardian of the healthygrowth of pupils, the bridge to communicate with schools, parents and the community. It is animportant force of the implementation of quality education. Whether their psychologicalquality is positive is directly related to the level of education quality. Positive psychologicalquality of primary school class teachers is to promote quality education, and an inevitablerequirement for the overall development of students.In the1990s, the famous American psychologist Seligman proposed the theory ofpositive psychology, which provides the theory support for the construction of teachers,especially for the training of highly qualified class teachers. Positive psychology is a newphilosophy of psychology which is different from the traditional psychology. Through thestudy of human potential positive qualities and a positive force, positive psychologyemphasizes human survival and development, stimulate people’s vitality, develop andcultivate human capacity and creativity to help humanity to get a better life.On the basis of summing up the positive psychological theory, the thesis explores theconnotations of the21positive psychological qualities of primary school class teachers,investigates the status of primary school class teachers of positive psychological quality, andanalyzes the reasons of the positive psychology of primary school class teachers qualityproblems, and on this basis it also explores training strategies of the primary school classteachers positive psychological quality in order to strengthen the building of a primaryschool class teachers team, and promote pupils’ healthy growth.
