The Chinese martial arts is the quintessence of Chinese culture, it in the process of development of Chinese national culture absorbing the essence, and increasingly formed the independent, complete martial arts culture system. Boxing is a traditional Chinese martial arts and one of the big four MingQuan, its development is the collection philosophy, medicine, and health and national culture at an organic whole, and accumulated a Chinese martial arts culture, is the national treasure’s cultural heritage. Boxing mass base widely, mainly spread in shanxi, hebei, henan, Beijing and other cities. In recent years, as China on intangible cultural heritage protection strengthen, the traditional martial arts was also highly regarded, and is also increasingly up boxing in shanxi government’s agenda, and through all kinds of rich and colorful activities held martial arts, bring about many of the fans of use enthusiasm to create a rich inheritance to carry forward the boxing atmosphere of culture. China’s boxing originated in Shanxi Province TaiGuXian jinzhong city, is the famous cradles of traders. Boxing CheYi lent hometown master, have "boxing cradle," said. In TaiGuXian practice boxing people of nearly ten thousand people, boxing club reach30above, and in2008and2010to hold "Zhong Yuan Wei" cup international boxing communication meeting, participants of nearly one thousand people or so. Therefore, the development of TaiGuXian xingyi quan development in Shanxi Province can be used as a miniature.My study explored the heritage and development of Xingyiquan, and many factors which affect the development of Xingyiquan, and the problems in it development used the literature, survey and expert interviews. Finally, make some recommendations.
