Interpersonal communication is the starting point of interpersonal relationship. For beingcollege students in the stages of growth, good interpersonal communication ability is not onlythe needs of the college life, but also towards the needs of the community in the future, and itis an important content of college students’ socialization. A large number of studies haveshown that the college students’ interpersonal communication is worrying, and handicap ofinterpersonal relationship to become one of the main factors that affect students’psychological health. In the practice of students’ psychological counseling, interpersonalbehavior disturbance has been high. In the practice of students’ psychological counseling,interpersonal behavior disturbance has been high. Therefore, it is particularly important toimprove interpersonal communication ability and interpersonal relationship.Based on the previous studies that from the college students’ interpersonalcommunication problems research and intervention methods, this study use the questionnaireof “the general diagnosis scales of the interpersonal relationship” redacted by Zheng Richang,prepared to do in Chongqing University of Survey4, and with the Solution-Focused BriefTherapy, compilation of a group counseling, and through experiment research has confirmedthe validity of this group counseling that improves college students interpersonal skills,andto analyze the efficacy factor that can enhance the college students’ interpersonalcommunication ability.This research mainly got the following conclusions:1. The totle level of Chongqing college students’ interpersonal communication is nothigh. From the scores of all dimensions, college students’ ratio that has difficulty on thecommunicative ability to make friends is the highest, but the ratio is the lowest on thecommunication-skills distress.The level of college students’ interpersonal communication hassignificant differences in different majors: science and engineering students below the collegestudents majoring in literature and art.Served as student leaders on whether there weresignificant differences in the level of college students’ interpersonal communication, andserved as student leaders in the level of college students’ interpersonal communication higherthan ordinary students. The overall level of students’ interpersonal communication in these demographic variables that involved in grade, gender, whether one child, students resources,is not significant differences.2. The four dimensions of interpersonal skills to adaption, interpersonal consicious, themanagement of impression and self-confidence can effectively predict the level of collegestudents’ interpersonal communication.3. Solution-focused group counseling is an effective way to improve college students’interpersonal communication ability, not only to immediate counseling, but also there is apersistent effect.4. The solution-focused group counseling to improve the therapeutic factors of collegestudents’ interpersonal communication: the core viewpoint of SFBC, group support andlearning, the members’ self-control and the positive group atmosphere. Among them, thecollege students’ interpersonal communication skills to improve, is a mechanism where thesolution-focused group counseling.
