The Study Of Solution-Focused Group Counseling On Emotional Intelligence Of Elementary School Students

With the vigorous implementation of quality education,mental health education has received great attention from educators and educated people.Cultivating students with sound personality,good interpersonal relationships,and strong mental will is an important focus of mental health education.There is a common factor affecting the cultivation of these abilities: emotional intelligence.Individuals with high emotional intelligence can clearly and appropriately identify and express their own emotions,and can manage emotions and solve problems more smoothly and flexibly,thereby facing life’s frustrations and pressures more easily;they also show more emotions to others A lot of understanding and support can build and maintain good interpersonal relationships with others.Therefore,the cultivation and intervention of emotional intelligence is very necessary.This article is an experimental study based on the focus of Solution-Focused Brief Counseling in group intervention to develop pupils’ emotional intelligence,so as to provide a practical basis for children’s emotional intelligence education.In this study,some of the students in the fourth grade of Linzexu Elementary School in Fuzhou who were more troubled by emotions were divided into focus group,non-focus group and control group.The focus group received focus-oriented group counseling for emotional intelligence intervention.The non-focus group received the emotional intelligence intervention of non-focus solution group counseling.While the control group did not perform any intervention.Before and after the intervention,the emotional intelligence scale was used to test subjects before and after.The results showed that:(1)the intervention of children’s emotional intelligence in the form of group counseling is effective;(2)compared with the non-focus solution-oriented group counseling’s emotional intelligence intervention,the focus-oriented group counseling’s emotional intelligence intervention can be more effective Better results are achieved in a short time,which provides a practical method for children’s emotional intelligence education.
