Academic failure, weariness and down to truancy are the popular problems which common occurance in the young students.School alienation is believed to be the important cause of these problems. Students in Gong-du School have emotional and behavioral problems,with low academic achievement,serious weariness and truancy.Therefore,their school alienation deserves special attention.This research aimed to investigate the feature and situation of school alienation,whether have significant differences with normal school students.Meanwhile,this research analyzed the factors which would affect the school alienation of Gong-du school students and provide valuable educational advices for Gong-du schools.This research selected325students in5Gong-du school and160students in2normal school in shanghai as the research object,and used the method of literature analysis,interview and questionnaire survey to do the research.The result show that:1.Generally, the score of school alienation in Gong-du student is low,mainly in the sense of powerlessness.isolation and normlessness.Compared with normal students their level of school alienation is higher,in the sense of powerlessness and normlessness.2..With the in crease of Grades, the level of Gong-du school students’ school alienation is promoted.The score of boys is lower than girls’,and easy to generate the sense of normlessness.Students who came from single-parent families,are more likely to experienced the sense of weakness and isolation and who was the only child of his family has high level in the sense of weakness isolation and normlessness.3.Exploratory factor analysis results show that the questionnaire of school alienation influencing factors in Gong-du school student has good reliability and validity.4.The results of regression analysis showed, self evaluation, academic stress,relationship with teacher and companion, hardware facilities, teachers’ literacy and family rearing pattern has significant influence on school alienation in Gong-du school students.
