The doctor’s ability embodies in clinical skills, teachers in the classroom. Classroom teaching is the basic form of teaching activities, it is also the main channel of teaching activities. The quality of classroom teaching will directly affect the teaching quality of the whole subject. The current implementation of quality-oriented education should change the way to get high quality in the past at the expense of students’spare time and the heavy academic burden, but guarantee the quality by improving the effectiveness of classroom teaching. Therefore, classroom teaching is the lifeline of school education and teaching, and the diligent pursue of school and teachers to achieve the ideal teaching effect. At the same time, it is one of the important standards for teaching assessment and the basic requirements of new curriculum reform.The Sixth Middle School of Liu Yang began the new curriculum reform in the autumn of2008, In recent years, there have been many problems since the reform in my school, such as some students have lost interest in learning, low effectiveness of classroom teaching, the teaching quality has not been improved and the students have made little progress in learning. Since a few years, many history teachers have not changed the traditional way of teaching." wearing shoes to walk ". they are subjected to the old course of the inertia, and still believe that as long as they complete "teaching tasks", it should be useful. That is to say, some history teachers still believe that as long as they have explained the materials on the basic knowledge clearly and the students can repeat so perfectly that they can perform wonderfully in exams, that means effective classroom teaching. It is obviously one-sided and wrong to understand the history classroom teaching in this way. It shows that history teachers have not really changed their educational concept and have not internalized the concept of the new curriculum into teaching consciousness and ability and implemented the practice of teaching. Therefore, under the background of new curriculum, what is the author wants to explore is what is effective teaching and how to achieve the effectiveness of history class. The study is based on the new curriculum reform background and do research directly on the effectiveness of history teaching of high school,which aims to achieve effective teaching. This thesis is divided into five parts:The first part, mainly introduce the background, significance and method of research. The second part, comprehensively discuss the effectiveness of history teaching in high school, including the connotation and the characters of high school history teaching. The third part, analyze the basic factor influencing the effective teaching of high school history teaching, mainly including the factors of teachers, students, and teaching environment. The fourth part, summarize and analyze the current situation of low efficiency or complete inefficiency of history teaching in high school. The fifth part, come up with specific strategies and methods to realize the effective history teaching based on the new curriculum ideas to help myself and my colleagues.
