Ideological and political education is an important political advantage of the Party. Our party has given the universal fully education of ideologic and politic with her political advantage even since1919to1949, the period of revolutionary war, by fully exploiting the revolutionary resources used for me, the enemy used for me, the universal used for me, and finally got the liberation of the whole China. During that period, the ideological and political education has the incomparably lofty status and its role was even self-evident.However, people appear disdaining when talking about ideological and political education in the peaceful era. In colleges and universities, although the state take the "two courses" as required course for enhancing the party spirit and virtue of the contemporary college students, but once entered into the "Two course" classroom, you will find that most of the students taking the attitude of indifference and even disgust, the "two course" is only a task to complete, only the tool to obtain the credits in their eyes. The phenomenon appears even on the students majored in ideological and political education.they are not really love their professional,but see it as only the tool to take the diploma, the professional is useless to society in their eyes, so that cynicism emotion spreads, and students are filled with the utilitarian. And why? What’s the reason? Are there problems with our ideological and political education in itself? Or the ideological and political education of the contemporary university? Or the contemporary college students themselves?With the questions above, the author have conducted a series of exploration from the theory to practice, and finally found that the key is of the problems is that the ideological and political education of the contemporary university have be divorced from the life. Life is the starting, the carrier, and the end of all superstructure activities. So that once out of life, any activity must be lost its lifeblood, lost the purpose and meaning, its struggling must be meaningless. In recent years, people’s sight and living space are having continuous expansion for they have entered into a information age and they have been in a environment where exists vast amounts of informations and the pluralistic values are totally open with the continue developing of the technology and the opening society. The superstition of science and technology and knowledge makes the ideological and political education gradually falling in the fog of idealized, formal, and knowledge, thus the ideological and political education will lose its proper vitality and effectiveness, leading to a series of drawbacks, such as dogmatic, formal, tools and so on.In addition, there have been some problems in the ideological and political education itself. Be different from any other craft disciplines, such as science and engineering, etc., which educated by coping something without catching its spirit, Ideological and political education is a complex process of externalization and internalization, a ideological and moral transformation process by the combination of rational and irrational, it is still a process that need the educated continue their experience and feelings in life. In short, the ideological and political education is not only a process of simply transferring and instilling, but also a humanistic discipline which relations with the human caring. It is the education for human, rather than the skills of education. However, for the liberation of the new China, all kinds of life in the country, including cultural life is gradually specification up, not dare to go beyond. Over-specification, however, lead the education lack of vitality. Ignoring its flexibility and sterile humanity, people gradually forget the intention of the ideological and political education, but see the subject only as a tool, remember and recite is the meaning of its title.As the conflicts and contradiction arising between the stagnation and retrogression of the ideological and political education and the rapidly changing life, I form the graduation thesis by carefully thinking and research. The article is divided into four parts to illustrate:The first part is the introduction, in this part, we will get the statements of the source of the thesis, the statements and analysis on the research status, the positioning of the writing target, the describing of the research significance. In addition, this part also points out the novelty and difficult part of this topic. The second part, which is also the first part of the body, standing on the shoulders of our predecessors to view the world firstly, will enumerating and thinking about the predecessors’ various theoretical and definitions about the life-oriented ideological and political education, then come to my own understanding of the proposition of " life-oriented ideological and political education". The third part of this article gives the analysis of the present situation of the ideological and political education out of life, and then have found the reason. In addition, I list the new requirements ideological and political education faced in the current, which leads to the fourth part, the new measures for these new requirements. Part four, for the third part of the analysis to the ideological and political education out of life, the author gives the reasonableness of the proposal by analysis from the objectives, methods, content and carrier. Up to now, the framework of this article formed.
