The purpose of this paper is to explore the political teachers ofmiddle school occupation identity status and its related factors. First,the author reference of the existing research results, construct thedimensions of the middle school politics teachers’ professional identityin theory, and according to the theoretical construction of middleschool teachers design political professional identity scale. And then,this study choice200politics teachers of middle school in Taiyuan,Shanxi Province to investigate, effective questionnaire is176copies(among them, male teachers are83, accounting for47.2%. femaleteachers are93, accounting for52.8%. the average age is40years old,the average school age is15years).The survey shows that the level of middle school political teachers’occupation identity status, in the overall, is Moderate deviation, thescores in three factors of occupation identity from high to low is Selfcognition in occupation, efficiency in occupation, behavior evaluationin occupation; There isn’t significant difference of middle schoolpolitical teachers occupation identity in sex; There is significantdifference between middle school political teachers’ satisfaction of theschool to promote the teachers’ professional development and thepolitics teachers professional identity; The age of middle school politicalteachers is positively related to the three factors of occupation identity,in Self cognition in occupation and behavior evaluation in occupationare significant positive correlation, in occupation efficiency did notreach the significant level; The teaching age of middle school politicalteachers are significantly positively correlated to the three factors ofoccupation identity; The motivation and will of occupation of middleschool political teachers are significantly positively correlated to thethree factors of occupation identity; The results also show that middle school political teachers’ occupation identity exists Career motivation isnot as decent as expected, the will of occupation is not stable enough;The article suggest that through forming resultant force from threeaspects of teachers, school and the social to improve the level ofidentification of middle school politics teachers; It is necessary not onlyto improve the middle school political teachers’ professionalrecognition, but also to improve the teachers employment incentivemechanism, and to enhance the teaching willingness, at the same time,the school also should implement human-oriented management, builda beneficial environment for the development of politics teachers inmiddle school.
