Teacher's professional identity refers to an attitude of teachers in their word,which mainly includes teachers' perception of their professional value and s sense of belonging to the profession,which belongs to the research content of teacher education.Studies have shown that the study of teacher professional identity has a strong correlation with teachers' job burnout and job well-being at work,which can help schools and policy makers understand the psychological state of teachers at work to formulate policies conducive to the professional development of teachers.The research focus of this study is to understand the status of professional identities of new mathematics teachers in junior middle schools in Shanghai.The research method uses a questionnaire survey and selects 102 junior middle school mathematics teachers who have been employed for 0-3 years in Minhang District as the survey object.The content of this article is divided into five parts.The first part is an introduction,which introduces the research background,research problems and research significance.The second part is a literature review,which defines the core concepts of teachers' professional identity.The third part is the research process,introducing research methods and research objects.The fourth part is the research results and problem analysis.Specifically,the data were analyzed using independent sample T test,analysis of variance and non-parametric test.And the analysis results showed that:(1)The professional identity of the new junior middle school mathematics teachers in Shanghai is at a relatively high level;(2)There are no significant differences in the professional identity of new mathematics teachers in junior high schools in terms of gender,job title,undergraduate major,teaching age,household registration,education,position,and whether there are relatives engaged in teacher occupation;(3)The professional identity of new mathematics teachers differs significantly in terms of motivation,character and salary.Then,based on the analysis results,some suggestions were made in terms of motivation,skill training,social atmosphere and workload.Finally,the fifth part summarizes and prospects the full text,points out the shortcomings of the research content of this article,and proposes the optimization method of the subject research.
