In the new century, the education reform develops rapidly in China,the school sports reform also have promoted, under the background ofEducation reform, Shanghai Xi Jiao School puts forward the "ScienceFitness" theme shaft courses with three backgrounds: The first one istwo important instructions of the general secretary Hu Jintao, thefeedback of recruiting department of the army and the background offorming sports atmosphere on the eve of the2008Beijing OlympicGames, the party central committee and the state council issued theproposal about enhance the teenagers sports to strengthen theteenagers health in2007; the second is that the second phase ofcurriculum reform in Shanghai has entered into a critical period ofdeeply development; thirdly, the Health test results of students of Xi Jiaoschool displays the health condition of students is not optimistic in2009.School Sport is the effective way of realizing the all-rounddevelopment of students physical and mental health. Throughimplement the course of the " Science Fitness" theme shaft, to stimulateand maintain students interest in sports learning, to improve the sportability of students, to develop students awareness of lifelong sports, andto promote the professional development of teachers.This thesis employs the data collection methodologies of materialsanalysis, questionnaire investigation, field survey and mathematicalstatistics to study the "Science Fitness" theme shaft courses from thefollowing aspects:(一) the basic theory of the courses;(二) the statusanalysis of the theme shaft curriculum implementation;(三) analysis thefactors that impact the implementation of the "Science Fitness" themeshaft courses;(四) in the implementation of the achievements andexisting problems;(五) research on the suggestion of the "ScienceFitness" theme shaft courses. The results show:(一)Xi Jiao School have initially formed a relativelymature "science fitness" theme course system, its content mainlyincludes five parts, and reflects the comprehensive, variety, opennessand operational features.(二)With the curriculum implementation, the"Science Fitness" theme shaft courses mainly make the following results:first of all, a strong atmosphere of school sports culture is formed,students on campus have relatively high satisfaction on sports activities;Second, the students physical education learning awareness isimproved; Third, the students’ interest to participate in sports is improved;Finally, the teacher professional development is promoted.(三)Factorsof constraints in the "Science Fitness" theme shaft coursesimplementation are: The field of sports equipment cant meet the needsof the "Science Fitness" theme shaft courses implementation; Lack ofexpert theoretical direction; The teachers knowledge ability structurecant adapt to the implementation of the "Science Fitness" theme shaftcourses; Theory lessons are much more than practice ones in highschool sports development courses;The existing teaching material cantfully satisfy school-based teachers teaching needs. Thus the impact ofthe "Science Fitness" theme shaft courses implementation is effected.Therefore, this thesis proposed operability recommendations asfollows:1.Develop a variety of sports development courses which arechose by students, the design of curriculum content to students interests,focus on the students individualization development, and reasonableallocate the proportion of physical activity classes and theory classes;2.Organize the experts to guide our teachers, strengthen research onteaching materials to achieve the effective integration of science andfitness knowledge of sports and language, mathematics and otherdisciplines;3.Increase efforts for the training of teachers, update theeducational concept of teachers, and comprehensively training andimprove the overall quality of teachers;4.Expand sports venues, increase the sports equipment and improve the utilization of sportsfacilities provide basic safeguard to carry out a variety of scientificfitness theme shaft course;5.Intensify efforts to develop for curriculumresources of sports expand to create conditions for a variety of coursecontent;6.Strengthen the application of IT in the sport curriculum;7.Takethe corresponding incentive mechanism, arouse and keep teacherswork enthusiasm.
