| University of Teacher Education is an important trend and realisticchoice of the reform to international teacher education. On thisbackground, an important measure of strengthening the constructionof contingent of principals is promoting the the Principal Constructionby the way of University to promote the principal professionalization andfurther improve the principals.The study is based on the background of University of TeacherEducation and thinking of principals’ professional development. isbased By analyzing the problems in the principals’ training process, topromote principals’ professional level is a basic objective ofstrengthening the construction of the principals. The article analyzes thecontents, features and value of University of Principal Training. At thesame time, the article sums up a number of recommendations aboutpromoting University of Principal Training by combining with thepractical exploration of Shanghai Normal University.Concerning on these questions, the paper is divided into four parts:The first part is to mainly clarify the motivation of this research, thehistory of research, research thinking and method. Through thedefinition of concepts with this study and the principal outcomes of thetraining-related research at home and abroad combing, putting theInstitute needs to address critical issues and discuss innovations andlimitations of this study.The second part is to compare the situation and practices ofUniversity of teacher education in developed countries, combined withthe current situation of university of teacher education in China, fromwhich summarizes requirements in the development of teachereducation and its enlightenment to universities of teacher education inChina.
