This thesis starts by analyzing the educational concept and its construction of primary and secondary school principals in theory and makes a summary of the current situation of the educational concept of school principals and its practice by using questionnaire survey and interview methods from four aspects- the concept and its practice of self-cognition, teacher-and-student relationship, curriculum and teaching relationship, running and managing schools.Secondly, the thesis analyzes the elements that extert influences on school principal's educational concept and its practice which include school principals' self-expectation and individual wills, the current situation and specificity of school development, new trend of education, edcational thoughts of famous educationists from home and abroad, current national educational reform, policy requirments of new curriculum reform and so forth.Finally, the thesis discusses the existing problems from three views of different principals' educational concept and practice, educational concept and practice in the eyes of teachers and principals and schools under the new trend of thoughts and educational reform. Then three strategies are put forward: firstly, principals' educational concept and practice must be in accordance with the schools' reality and needs; secondly, the educational reform of one school should be consistent with its long-term plans and cultural traditions; thirdly, the formation and practice of school principals' educational concept should follow the law of nature.
