China is a “poet teaching” country at all times, Confucius said:”Nopoem, no word”,” Learning Shi Jing(the book of poems) can inspire theimagination, improve observation ability, help people to get along withothers, know about irony skills on the current politics. Under the currentcircumstance, to look after parents according to the truth within it, inthe long run, to assist the monarch. And learn knowledge about thebirds, animals and the vegetations.” It is found that using poetry tocultivate students, influence people and instruct life is very important inChinese history. To the individual, poetry can express the subtle feelingand mentally emotion; to the society, it can be used to know the world,regulate ethics and stabilize the society. Firstly, this paper elaborates thedefinition and demarcation of the new verse, and then makes ageneral introduction of the development history of the new verse; onthis foundation, this paper analyzes the educational value of the newverse from two aspects: artistic value and humanistic value.And then in the second chapter, the author makes survey andanalysis on the high school teaching of the new verse, unfolds thefollowing problems: the sharp contrast between the rich aesthetichumanistic value of the new verse and the attention and acceptancethat students hold for it in the high school new verse Chinese teaching;contradiction between simple teaching method of the teachers andexpectation of the students; embarrassing situation between thestudents’ desire for the new verse composition and the lack of the newverse creation. The author puts forward to find countermeasures for thenew verse teaching and strategies for optimizing teaching. This papermakes several countermeasures for high school Chinese teaching ofthe new verse combines with psychology status of the students andcurrent situation of the new verse teaching research. It proposes that image analysis, scrutiny reading method and enjoy reading methodshould be applied to analyze the poetry in the current new verseteaching. Moreover, students are encouraged to read multiply andbounded, return to the tradition combination of the poem and musicduring teaching, and compose the new verse. Makes the new verseteaching indeed cultivate the students’ pursuit for sincerity, honestyand beauty, and let their poetry exist in the world...
