The composition comment is a second valid method to weighand judge the composition level of students after the compositiongrade, having feedback and instructional effect to students.Moreover, the composition comment has incentive function onstudents’ emotions. An inspiring composition comment not only canpoint out the deficiencies in compositions and then provide theimprovement suggestions, but also can encourage students toenhance their confidence and to stimulate their interests incomposition writing. Compared to the past, the current situations ofcomposition comment have changed a lot. However, there are stillhuge potentials in the aspect of stimulating emotions.This paper, based on the relevant research results. The authorhas found some problems from2semesters teaching practice. Inorder to study the aspect of emotional comments in senior highschool students’ compositions, the author uses questionnaire survey as main research method and other supporting methodssuch as corpus analysis and interview should be usedsimultaneously. According to the data of questionnaires andexamples of composition comments, the author will figure outproblems, like fewer incentive remarks; fewer attention to theemotional communication between teachers and students; fewerequal conversation because of the teachers’ strictness; and fewertrue emotions in giving composition comments, students simplyimitate the tone of teachers. Meanwhile with the help of interviewson teachers, the author analyzes the reasons, which cause theshortage of emotional inspiration in composition comment.Finally, the author makes some related suggestions, which arebased on the principles of emotional inspiration of compositioncomment. Puts forward the effective ways solve the existent problemof emotional incentive in composition comments. The teacher shoulduse more incentive evaluation and less picky accused; integrate theemotional communication and humanistic care into the comments;understand the psychological characteristics of high school studentsand enhances the professional competence of teachers as well as thequality of students peer assessment. Under the guidance of theseproposals, in a view to optimize the evaluation of emotionalinspiration in composition reviews, constantly stimulate students ’ interest in writing.
