The stage of junior middle school is the key stage of studentslearning career. In the background of lifelong learning, independentlearning ability is important, but the situation is worrying. Although juniormiddle school students have a certain amount of autonomous learningability, but their independent learning ability are generally stay on verylow level. There are many factors that influent junior high schoolstudents autonomous learning level, but the author think among thosecrucial factors, one of the most important factors is that the junior highschool students are lack of effective independent learning strategies.Mind mapping, as a scientific and effective learning strategy, is akind of method that make the implicit radioactive thinking specific andmanifest. Junior high school students psychological development levelhas laid a good foundation to mind mapping application. They have astrong thirst for knowledge and the spirit of exploration, they express astrong desire to create in many ways, compared with adults, they areless conservative, these characteristics make mind mapping suit tojunior high school students autonomous learning. Through the methodof literature review and interviews survey etc, take some of the juniorhigh school students of Shanghai Yisi School as the research object, theauthor study the learning effect from pre-learning, mid-learning andpost-learning period. Through the contrast analysis, find that the use ofmind mapping, greatly improving the students independent learningability and level. At present, a system further study on the theme of"mind mappings using in the junior high school students autonomouslearning" is relatively less. In view of this, the author studies the mindmappings using in junior high school students autonomous learning onthe "learning" aspect, so as to arouse peoples attention to the study of"mind mapping application to autonomous learning". This thesis mainly consists of three main components:The first part is the foundation of the studies, mainly introduces theresearch background, research objective, the research methods, aswell as the domestic and foreign relevant theoretical research.The second part is the main content of this paper, the authoranalyzes the junior high school students learning effect from internalfactors and external factors, represents the necessity and probability ofpromote students autonomous learning by mind mapping, and puts thisin the actual cases to the proof.The third part is the conclusion, the author of summarizes the study,and puts forward the research deficiency and prospected.
