The education of children is getting more and more attention with the development of the society. As a core location of schools, families and social education which are trinity education, social education has an important position. According to the relevant literature we know that the social education of migrant children is weakest in the Trinity education. And moral education as an important aspect of social education, play an important role in children’s growth. In recent years, social work is gradual rise in China, there is more and more attention from the unique role of social work played in the moral education of Children. It becomes a important research topic that how social work theory is applied to the education and life practice of migrant children.At the present stage many research is basic research which mainly study school education, family environment education of children. In recent years, social work of children has been paid great attention with the strong implementation of social work. It has been explored and practiced continuously how social work method applied to the field of children’s social work. In this paper, one of the three methods of social work, group work would be the main intervention way to explore the feasibility of social work involve in the children’s moral education.This paper selects the L Primary school, district H in Wuhan city as the subject of investigation which focus on status and needs of moral education of the Children. Due to the low cognitive level to moral education and lack of socialization, so distribute the questionnaire to student of grade five and six not the low-grade student. On this basis, in view of the status quo and needs for children’s moral education, we search the related literature, combine with constructivist theory, and cognitive behavior theory to examine the status from demand for moral education, knowledge of moral education, and the way of moral education. To design questionnaire of needs of Children’s moral education and use SPSS7.1to describe and analysis the questionnaire data to find that it is necessary to intervene the children’s moral education in L School. Next, the fifth grade as a reference group, the sixth grade as the experience group, to intervene the work in sixth grade, plan a group activity supported by four dimensions which are civilization and comity, love respect, solidarity, honesty. After group activity, we gave questionnaires to experience group and reference group, using SPSS to analysis the intervention degree Through the post-test data and observed conclusion, we know that the moral education of the experimental group is significantly higher than the reference group, from frequency analysis, the efficiency percentage of experimental group’s moral education level is higher then the reference group’s, so we can say that it has a significant enhancing affect that use social work methods involved in the moral education of migrant children, the social work’s specialized intervention skills can be applied to migrant children, social education way is made more diverse, and it has a better effect compared social work methods with traditional teaching methods.From the above intervention, this article suggests that must increase the intervention of the moral education of children from the status and needs of children; Group working method involves in the children’s moral education plays an significantly enhance role means the feasibility of social work method apply on children’s moral education. And under the supporting of constructivism and cognitive-behavioral theory, seeking more support and help from schools and families, to build the trinity model of children’s education together.
